Another amazing map from BIGRE, Dimension Jumper 2 is a map where you are in the possession of an enchanted potion, one that allows you to jump between two opposite dimensions, in this case, heaven and hell!
You are trapped in heaven, and in order to escape, you must go through hell (literally!). You are left with nothing, nothing but plenty of food, and a very amazing potion that gives you a very bizarre ability to travel to hell, and back. Heaven and hell are two overlapping dimensions, which means that they are very similar to each other, but with some small minor differences.
It is these small minor differences you must utilize as a player, in order to find your way through the map, and conquer it! It is a very fun map that requires you to think things through, remember your steps, and remember the layout of the two different dimensions in order to progress.
Dimension Jumper 2 also features a custom resource pack, which is bundled with the map, in order to really make your heaven and hell experience live up to their respective names! Be sure to install it as well, in order to avoid any errors and to make the experience complete.
The goal of the map is pretty simple: beat it, and get to the end, by whatever means you can. There is one rule though: do not break or place any blocks yourself. Do so, and you ruin the entire point of the map.
In order to make sure the map looks right and plays right, this is how your settings should be:
- Use the provided resource pack.
- Set Clouds to Off.
- Smooth Lightning should also be Off.
- This map is made for Minecraft 1.8, and should not be played in any versions lower than that, as it probably won’t work then.
Dimension Jumper 2 is a very fun map, and the way you play and solve it is pretty unique, you must use your brain, and some skills in order to get to the end! Anyways, check it out and have fun, the map is pretty great!
How to install:
- Download the map.
- Go to your %appdata%/.minecraft folder.
- Open the “saves” folder.
- Unzip the map you downloaded, and put the unzipped folder into the saves folder.
- All set! Dimension Jumper 2 should now be installed and ready to go, don’t forget to install and enable the resource pack as well! Have fun!
