Paxel Mod is a very, very useful mod, as it adds a very valuable item to the Minecraft universe: a paxel.
Now, most of you wont know what a paxel is, so I’ll explain it:
Imagine if you combined a pickaxe with an axe and a shovel. That is what a paxel is, and that is what the Paxel Mod adds, a combination of the three most used tools in Minecraft. This makes this mod extremely handy, as it saves you inventory space, and time.
No longer do you have to switch between every tool to do different tasks, as this tool will dig, mine and chop wood, all on its own. It is also available in every normal tool material, however, another feature of the Paxel Mod is that it includes some “new” materials for this tool, such as obsidian and emerald.
The Paxel Mod requires Minecraft Forge in order to function.
Here you can see how to craft a paxel:
Pretty simple, a shovel, axe and pickaxe, and then two sticks. Simple!

Very, very handy for most Minecraft players out there, and very easy to craft. It’s almost a must for the serious Minecrafter, and it’s hard to see any downside to this mod.
How to install the Paxel Mod:
- Download the mod
- If you don’t have Forge, then download and install Forge for Minecraft (remember to select the “Forge” profile in the Minecraft launcher)
- Open your minecraft.jar folder (in Windows it’s in “%appdata%\.minecraft\bin\”, if you use the vanilla launcher)
- Copy the mod from wherever you downloaded it from to the “mod” folder found in your “.minecraft” folder
- Enjoy your new awesome tool for almost every occasion!
